Milton Keynes mycitymysoul

I was asked recently by a close friend as to why I am so passionate about Milton Keynes. I looked at him while trying to find the right words to answer his question.
In fact I have so much to say about Milton Keynes I fell in love with the town more than ten years ago when I first came to visit over the weekend. What struck me first were the cleanness and the quietness of Milton Keynes for somebody coming from London. It was the tranquil nature and the easiness of moving around the town using the grid roads. The landscape, the green nature, the lakes, parks and the philosophy behind the setting of the town were impressive. I started dreaming about living here because I could see the huge potential the town has. It is a unique town in England by the way it is structured. His geographical location is a key driver for businesses.
Ten years after moving to Milton Keynes I am still confident and very optimistic about the future of this town. The statistics about Milton Keynes being the fastest growing town in Europe and the second town after London with the lowest unemployment rate are reinforcing my views. This is a town where everybody can find something to enjoy. On weekly and monthly basis many companies are moving here so is the workforce. Many part of Milton Keynes are on building site, more and more housing and newly built houses are in demand.
Leisure wise so many sporting and entertainment venues are available to young people and for those fancying a quiet walk along the river Ouse. The place is booming and catching up with big cities. Our Football team is following the trend by winning the promotion to the Championship after spending five years in League 1. This is an opportunity to pay tribute to Peter Winkleman owner of MKDONS who has the vision and the dream to make Milton Keynes a pivotal place for entertainment with the BOWL and StadiumMK. Very soon we might be watching top Premiership teams playing in Milton Keynes thanks to Peter Winkleman’s vision.
For the visitors Milton Keynes is a blend of urban and countryside life. There is so much to see and explore from Woburn village with the Safari park, Olney, Stony Stratford shops to the biggest shopping centre in the region CMK and MK1.
Milton Keynes hosts some worldwide renowned brands such as OPEN UNIVERSITY, RED BULL RACING, ASTON MARTIN CARS, CRANFILED UNIVERSITY, SANTANDER BANK, THE NETWORK RAIL and not far away the Grand Prix circuit of Silverstone.
You are all welcome to the new city of MILTON KEYNES and you have a freedom pass to explore its riches.
